Meet Brooke, the passionate owner of Brooke’s Dog Grooming, Orleans’ top-rated dog grooming salon. An award-winning salon, Brooke’s Dog Grooming has been recognized as Ottawa’s best dog groomer every year since opening in 2022.

A certified full-time groomer, Brooke specializes in grooming Golden Retrievers and other double-coated breeds. Her fascination with Golden Retrievers led her into the world of showing and breeding, proudly owning her own show line Golden Retriever named Brier, and recently adding a new show puppy, Charming, to her family. Throughout the year, she actively participates in local dog shows, immersing herself in the genetics and grooming techniques of Golden Retrievers.

Having found her true passion in her mid-20s, Brooke wholeheartedly pursues her dream of running her own grooming salon. As she works towards becoming a certified master groomer, she takes pride in offering fear-free grooming services and possesses valuable knowledge in animal CPR and first aid, gained during her years as a veterinary assistant in animal emergency care. Her background in vet care and animal behavior equips her with extensive experience in handling difficult and anxious pets.

Brooke’s focus remains on providing a patient and welcoming atmosphere where dogs always feel safe and secure. With unwavering attention to detail and a deep concern for your pet’s wellbeing, she ensures that each grooming session is a positive and enjoyable experience for your furry companion.

Tyra

Groomer

Tyra has been professionally grooming dogs for over three years and is passionate about helping every pet look and feel their best. She believes grooming should be a positive experience and is committed to using fear-free and force-free handling techniques that prioritize each dog’s comfort, well-being, and individual needs. Known for her attention to detail and gentle approach, Tyra takes pride in creating a grooming experience that is tailored to each dog. She understands that every pet is unique and works to build trust and confidence throughout the grooming process, helping dogs feel comfortable and secure while in her care. Tyra particularly enjoys working with large breeds, double-coated dogs, and pets who may need a little extra patience, support, and individualized attention. She finds it especially rewarding to help nervous or sensitive dogs have positive grooming experiences and takes the time to ensure they feel safe and understood. Whether it’s an outline trim, routine maintenance, or a full groom, she is dedicated to achieving beautiful results while maintaining the comfort of every pet. For Tyra, the most rewarding part of grooming is seeing a dog leave feeling fresh, comfortable, and confident. She is committed to continually growing her skills and knowledge within the grooming industry and strives to provide exceptional care to every dog she has the privilege of grooming.

Jessica

Bather/Groomer

Jess began her grooming journey in 2022 after welcoming her first show dog, a Miniature American Shepherd named Buddy. What started as a personal passion quickly grew into a deep commitment to breed-standard grooming and coat care.
She now specializes in Australian Shepherds, double-coated breeds, herding dogs, and retrievers, with a particular love for double coats. Jess takes pride in bringing out each dog’s natural beauty while maintaining the health, structure, and integrity of the coat—so pets not only look their best, but feel their best too.
As an active dog show enthusiast, Jess brings a trained eye for detail and presentation into every groom. Her experience in the show ring means she understands how to highlight each dog’s unique features while staying true to breed standards.
Clients appreciate Jess for her thoughtful, gentle approach and her dedication to ongoing learning. She is always refining her skills to provide the highest level of care, ensuring every dog leaves looking polished, balanced, and beautifully maintained.
